Chocolate Cravings - Taming the Monster

America's most popular version is said to vanilla, but you would have a hard time convincing that the chocolate-lovers have!

Look at the grocery store check-out aisles. They are filled with chocolate, not vanilla bars!

The lady in the Nutrisystem TV commercials, who says she can eat chocolate every day seems a prime example of chocolate addiction. No doubt she sells a lot of Nutrisystem diet plans, too.

While the chocolate does not contain anti-oxidants, which hardlyit qualifies as a staple food.

A chocolate diet was actually created by the French (of course), the Chocla Slim by Slim Delices. Some of the ingredients include chicory inulin (), artichoke extract root (leaf), green tea extract (leaf), guarana, and (fruit extract) for sale.

Dietitians are not buying it, though, and if you do, you will have shell out a pretty penny - about $ 80 per month, to be precise, three pieces per day.

As comfort food, but chocolate wins hands down.Especially for women, but not so much for men. Women tend to want to buy foods that are not labor intensive.

Comfort foods are eaten for extreme emotions: depression and elation. In fact, the MOST coveted chocolate foods by women, according to studies, and not necessarily for its sweetness. Many other foods are sweet and do not have the charm that chocolate does not.

Caffeine effect, perhaps? Maybe. Some argue that mimic cannabinoids in chocolate that marijuana foundso there may be some truth to claims chocaholics.

But, is chocolate really addictive? Many scientists have investigated this. Some say no, some say yes, but the results are not meaningful broadly.

High-quality chocolate contains only cocoa, cocoa butter, sugar and sometimes real vanilla and soy lecithin as an emulsifier. Chocolate contains cheap fillers, artificial flavors and cheap preservative.

What are the best ways toTo prevent chocolate cravings? Maybe just say yes - a small piece. Enter an event out of it and buy a piece of expensive European chocolate. See if this satisfies your craving. If so, you have consumed a relatively small amount of calories.

Or try chocolate-flavored foods such as chocolate yogurt. Even a small amount as you find in a serving yogurt container.

Taming the Beast chocolate can take time and determination. When the monster roars take a deepBreath, think, then decide whether chocolate is really heal that stress on you right now. Chances are, the answer is no.
