Recipe For Raw Chocolate Bars

Since 1842, when Cadbury's of England, the first chocolate, millions of people have had a love affair with chocolate. It is estimated that the average American eats 4.5 kilograms per year and the average Swiss eats 9.5!

Of course, the history of chocolate goes back to the ancient Olmec and Aztec cultures, where it was considered a "food of the gods."

I personally was never a big fan of chocolate, at least not until I began to experience pure raw cacao. Ibelieve, is the reason that normal chocolate was literally cooked to death. To make a typical chocolate, cocoa beans are crushed, fermented and then roasted at 150 C (300 F) for 1 to 2 hours. After that they are tempered with boiling water for 20-30 minutes.

When adding processed sugar, dairy products, preservatives, artificial colors, chemical flavors and more to this lifeless chocolate substance it is no wonder that some people develop allergies to chocolate. InterestinglyBut I have seen that most people with chocolate allergies, not a similar reaction with raw cocoa.

Raw cacao has many nutritional benefits and is generally considered one of the most complete foods on the planet.

Since both the effects of raw cacao for myself, I find myself communicating with people. I regularly use a few more beans my smoothies, I cacao in salad dressings and sauces, and sometimes I just snack a few beans with a bit of agave or honey.

But,thanks to the love of my partner Gabrielle of chocolate, I get most of my raw cocoa in the form of great tasting raw chocolate bars.

I am happy to share her recipe here with you.

To this recipe you will need a grinder or a mortar and pestle

Ingredients for simple chocolate:

1 / 2 C whole peeled cacao beans, ground
1 / 8 C coconut oil
1 / 8 C melted cacao butter (use coconut oil if not available)
1 / 4 C raw honey or raw agave syrup

OptionalIngredients:

1 / 4 cup raisins
1 T almonds, finely chopped
1 drop of orange, lemon, clove, lavender or other essential oils
Cinnamon flavor
Celtic Sea Salt to taste

Preparation:

Grind cacao until it is very beautiful. The cocoa will have a consistency like raw almond butter and stay to the sides of the mill. Mix ground cacao with coconut oil or cocoa butter in the mill. Remove and mix with honey and other ingredients. Stir with a fork, too. TheMixture should be poured. If not, add more coconut oil. Pour into Ice Cube trays or other molds and freeze for 45 minutes. Serve immediately upon removal from the freezer.

A few interesting facts about cocoa and chocolate

The word "chocolate" comes from the Aztec word "cacahuatl" or "xocolatl." This means "bitter water".

Well, now it’s time to take a break and give yourself a little chocolate TLC. These Chocolate Goody Bars are definitely an indulgence. A sweet indulgence of chocolate, vanilla, and peanut butter. You will adore the crispy chocolate, floating over a cloud of vanilla frosting, sitting on top of deep rich fudge cake. Mmm . . .

1 19.8-oz pkg. Fudge Brownie Mix

½ cup oil

2 eggs

¼ cup water

1 16-ounce can vanilla frosting

¾ cup chopped peanuts

3 cups rice crispy cereal

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 12-ounce pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease 13x9x2-inch baking one form, set aside.

In a large bowl of brownie mix, cooking oil, eggs and water, stir until well mixed. Spread mixture inprepared pan.

Bake for 28 to 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted 2-inches from side of pan comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Spread with frosting. Sprinkle with peanuts. Cover; chill in refrigerator.

Meanwhile, place rice cereal in medium bowl. In small saucepan, combine peanut butter and chocolate chips. Heat and stir over low heat until chocolate is melted. Pour over cereal. Stir to coat evenly. Spread mixture over frosting layer in pan.

Cover and cold in the refrigerator until chocolate layer is set. Cut into bars. Keep covered and refrigerate.

Easy Chocolate Cake Recipes

Who does not love chocolate cake? I think one of my favorite cake is a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and white frosting.

I am always on the lookout for non dairy chocolate recipes. I have a chocolate cake, very simple, non-dairy recipe that gets compliments every time to make:

1 ½ cups flour

1 cup white sugar

1 cup cold water

1 / 3 cup cocoa powder

1 / 3 vegetable oil or vegetable oil

1 tablespoon cider vinegar do (not to other vinegars, must be "apple vinegar)

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

Flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Add shortening and mix in. Add vinegar, water, and then add the rest of the mixture to beat a little at a time, and after each addition. Add vanilla and mix. Pour into greased / wax paper-lined cake pan and bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes.

If you like sour cream, is this recipewonderful. The sour cream helps to wet the cake and there is a wonderful taste:

16 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate (I melt the chocolate in the microwave very easily)

1 / 4 cup butter, softened

1 2 / 3 cups boiling water

2 1 / 3 cups flour

2 cups white sugar

1 / 2 cup cream

2 eggs

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

Oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2 inch bakingpan. In large bowl, mix chocolate, butter and water. Stirring, until mixture is smooth. Flour, sugar, sour cream, eggs, baking powder, salt and vanilla. With electric mixer beat on low until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is done.

If you do not like, try sour cream, mayonnaise. Mayonnaise makes the cake very moist and beautiful with a taste that most people simply do not quiet. No substitute for Miracle Whip or other salad dressingthe mayonnaise. The cake does not taste quite right.

America's most popular version is said to vanilla, but you would have a hard time convincing that the chocolate-lovers have!

Look at the grocery store check-out aisles. They are filled with chocolate, not vanilla bars!

The lady in the Nutrisystem TV commercials, who says she can eat chocolate every day seems a prime example of chocolate addiction. No doubt she sells a lot of Nutrisystem diet plans, too.

Chocolate Fudge Cake Recipe - Homemade Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake

I do not know how about you, but I love chocolate fudge cake. A look at this delicious cake makes my mouth water. Chocolate lovers will scoop this up pretty quickly, so make sure you grab a piece before it's all gone.

2 cups sifted cake flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder

1 / 2 teaspoon salt

3 squares unsweetened chocolate

2 / 3 cup water

1 1 / 2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 / 3 cup butter,softened

3 eggs

1 / 3 cup buttermilk

Chocolate Fudge Filling


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.

Tear a large sheet of paper and wax on paper towel counter. With a strainer, sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda on the wax paper.

In a saucepan, combine or water, the chocolate, water and 1 / 4 cup sugar, cook over low heat, stirring constantly. If the chocolate is thick and smooth,Transfer to another bowl. Chill chocolate in a saucepan of water, stir with ice;. Vanilla, chocolate.

In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy nice and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one by one. Blend in the cooled chocolate.

3 cups sifted confectioners sugar "

In a small saucepan, add the chocolate squares and butter. Cook over low heat until it melts.

Place in a bowl, the meltedChocolate, milk, vanilla and stir until well combined. Add the confectioners sugar and mix until filling is smooth and easily spreadable.

In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, baking soda, buttermilk and vanilla. In mixing the dough and chocolate until the mixture is completely smooth. Pour into cake pan.

Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost cake with chocolate fudge frosting.

Chocolate Fudge Frosting

1 stick butter

6 to 8 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons cocoa

1 box confectioners sugar "

1 cup chopped pecans orWalnuts (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla

In a saucepan, cook the butter, cocoa and milk over low heat (do not boil). Remove pan from heat and stir in the sugar, nuts and vanilla. Beat smooth with an electric mixer until the frosting.

Pour warm glaze over cake, you spend and with a knife.

Chocolate Birthday Cake

Cherry Filling for Chocolate Birthday Cake

* 1 15 to 17 ounces can pitted dark sweet cherries

* 1 tablespoon cornstarch

* 2 tablespoons cherry liqueur

Drain fruit, reserve 2/3-cup liquid. In a medium saucepan combine reserved liquid and cornstarch, add fruit.

Cook and stir until thickened and begins to bubble. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Stir in liqueur. Cool. Cover, chill thoroughly without stirring. Power enough to distance between two8-9 cm cake layers (about 1 ¼ cups).

Butter Frosting for Chocolate Birthday Cake

* 1 / 3 cup butter or margarine

* ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

* 4 ½ cups sifted powdered sugar

* ¼ cup milk

* 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla

* Milk
